    >18 years old, English proficiency, at least PPLH

    150 hrs pilot time

    • 100 hrs in powered aircraft (50 in helicopters)
    • 100 hrs PIC
      • 35 hrs in helicopters
      • 10 hrs XC in helicopters

    20 hrs flight training per 61.127(b)(3)

    • 10 hrs instrument training
    • 1 day VFR XC >2 hrs/50 NM in a helicopter
    • 1 night VFR XC >2 hrs/50 NM in a helicopter
    • 3 hrs preparing for practical test within previous 60 days

    10 hrs solo per 61.127(b)(3)

    • 1 day VFR XC with 3 landings and 1 leg >50 NM
    • 5 hrs night VFR with 10 t/o and landings

    Required endorsements

    • Endorsement for FAA Knowledge Test (from instructor giving training or based on home study)
    • Endorsement for Practical Test, based on having received training in 61.127(b) and meeting the aeronautical experience requirements

    For issuance of certificate

    • Pass FAA Knowledge Test
    • Pass Practical Test
